Red Rabbit Leather Mask

This mask had been originally desgned for a Shakespeare theatre group. On one hand it is sleek and elegant, but then again,I think it could also have a creepy rabbit Donnie Darko kinda thing going on, too. Anyway... ... mask is made of hand molded and formed leather and has been dyed in shades of dark slightly brownish red with plenty of black shading and accents. It has a protective topcoat and a pair of coordinating ribbon ties. This mask has a scar on it's lower cheek, see bottom photo for detail of this. This scar was a natural quality of the piece of leather that I used to make the mask out of.
Mask is made of gorgeous high quality leather. I work in light leather that accepts and holds detailed molding and forming, and is also easier to wear than heavier leather masks.
