Rabbit Leather Mask
This mask was originally designed for a Shakespeare theatre group. On one hand it is sleek and elegant, but then again, I think it could also have a creepy rabbit Donnie Darko kinda thing going on, too. Anyway... ... mask is made of hand molded and formed leather and has been colored with both leather dyes and acrylic paints. It is a reddish brown color with black shading, and has a protective topcoat and a pair of coordinating ribbon ties. The reddish brown color really varies depending on what lighting situation you are viewing the mask in- sometimes it looks more red, and sometimes more brown.
Mask is made of gorgeous high quality leather. I work in light leather that accepts and holds detailed molding and forming, and is also easier to wear than heavier leather masks.
