Rabbit Leather Mask
This mask has becme my classic rabbit mask...it had been originally designed for a Shakespeare theatre group. On one hand it is sleek and elegant, but then again, I think it could also have a creepy rabbit Donnie Darko kinda thing going on, too. Anyway... ... mask is made of hand molded and formed leather and has been colored with both leather dyes and acrylic paints. It is brown with black shading and a small amount of cream colored wash highlight. It has a protective topcoat and a pair of coordinating ribbon ties.
Mask is made of gorgeous high quality leather. I work in light leather that accepts and holds detailed molding and forming, and is also easier to wear than heavier leather masks.
